In search of some clean sheets.....

With the deadline (12.30pm on Saturday 9th) for September manager of the month entries coming up YTM HQ have been gazing in our crystal ball to try and predict where the clean sheets will be won in the next 3 weeks or so.

We'll go on a team by team basis working down the current Premiership league table:

Manchester United
Fixtures (in Sept): Home - TOT, ARS. Away - REA.
Prediction: 2 Clean Sheets. Still top of the table at the end of Sept.

Portsmouth
Fixtures: Home - WIG, BOL. Away - CHA.
Prediction: 2 Clean Sheets. Great start to season continues.

Aston Villa
Fixtures: Home - CHA. Away - WHU, WAT, CHE.
Prediction: 2 Clean Sheets. Renaissance under Martin O'Neil gathers pace.

Everton
Fixtures: Home - LIV, WIG, MAC. Away - NEW.
Prediction: 2 Clean Sheets. Top 6 contenders.

Chelsea
Fixtures: Home - CHA, LIV, AST. Away - FUL.
Prediction: 3 Clean Sheets. Going from strength to strength.

Liverpool
Fixtures: Home - NEW, TOT. Away - EVE, CHE, BOL.
Prediction: 1 clean sheet. Play the extra game but a very tough month for the Reds.

Bolton
Fixtures: Home - WAT, MID, LIV. Away - POR.
Prediction: 1 Clean Sheet. If Anelka settles quickly they'll consolidate in top 10.

Manchester City
Fixtures: Home - WHU. Away - REA, BLA, EVE.
Prediction: 0 Clean Sheets. Tough month for Psycho and City.

Fulham
Fixtures: Home - CHE. Away - NEW, TOT.
Predction: 0 Clean Sheets. No joy for Fulham in September.

Wigan
Fixtures: Home - WAT. Away - POR, EVE.
Prediction: 1 Clean Sheet. Signs of improvement for The Latics.

Reading
Fixtures: Home - MAC, MAU. Away - SHU.
Prediction: 1 Clean Sheet. Best of the promoted 3.

Newcastle
Fixtures: Home - FUL, EVE. Away - WHU, LIV.
Prediction: 1 Clean Sheet. Mediocre start to continue.

Tottenham
Fixtures: Home - FUL. Away - MAU, LIV.
Prediction: 1 Clean Sheet. Will struggle on the road in September.

Charlton
Fixtures: Home - POR, ARS. Away - CHE, AST.
Prediction: 0 Clean Sheets. Dowie finding the going tough in top flight.

Middlesbrough
Fixtures: Home - BLA. Away - ARS, BOL, SHU.
Prediction: 1 Clean Sheet. Inconsistency needs to be overcome.

Arsenal
Fixtures: Home - MID, SHU. Away - MAU, CHA.
Prediction: 3 Clean Sheets. Back on track with an excellent September.

Watford
Fixtures: Home - AST. Away - BOL, WIG.
Prediction: 0 Clean Sheets. It's going to be a long hard season.

Sheffield United
Fixtures: Home - BLA, REA, MID. Away - ARS.
Prediction: 1 Clean Sheet. Need to get some points from those home games.

Blackburn
Fixtures: Home - MAC. Away - SHU, MID.
Prediction: 2 Clean Sheets. Won't be propping up the league come October.
