Slightly more expensive than last season but his early season form seems to have justified the price rise. A must for any YTM manager.

O Mellberg
Aston Villa - £5m

Enjoying a new lease of life under Martin O'Neil at Villa Park. Likes to get forward and bag the odd goal. Could be a popular pick in Transfer Window 1.

M Silvestre
Manchester United - £7m
15 Points
A big points scorer if he plays. Not sure he's one of Fergie's first XI if everyone is fit. Expect Heinze to be ahead in the pecking order when he's back.

L Primus
Portsmouth - £3m
15 Points
One of Harry's favourites. A rock-like figure at the heart of Pompey's impressive defence. A steal at £3m.

F Lampard
Chelsea - £9m
20 Points
Struggling for England but as good as ever in the blue of Chelsea. He's expensive but you can you do without him? We doubt it.

J Bullard
Fulham - £5.5m
18 Points
The new hero of Craven Cottage. Wigan will miss him badly. Expect Jimmy to be challenging for the top 5 YTM midfielders come the end of the season.

Watford - £3m

Under used by Paul Jewell last term. Will be a regular at Watford and will challenge Marlon King to be their top YTM player.

L Saha
Manchester United - £6.5m

A popular choice and looking excellent value at £6.5m. Will only benefit from Rooney's return from suspension. Fergie will be praying he stays fit.

B Zamora
West Ham - £5m

Stunning start to the season. Wonder what he reckons to the arrival of Tevez? Be wary of the knee-jerk.....
