YTM's March Preview

March is a weird month in YTM, with many clubs having odd-numbers of games. This is due to teams having FA Cup Quarter-Finals and an England International to manoeuvre around.

Only one team stands out with four games. That team is Arsenal.

However, the Gunners have three away games, including a trip to Anfield, so it would be a brave man to bank on them for Clean Sheets!

The majority of teams then have three games in the Premiership this Month. Personally I would put my money on Newcastle performing the best this month.

They have three games, of which two are at home. There fixtures are as follows:

Middlesbrough (h)
Charlton (a)
Man City (h)

These all look very winnable for the Toon Army, who looking fairly decent at the moment. Obafemi Martins is clearly a quality signing, and Onyewu's presence at the back seems to have blocked a leaky defence to some extent.

The team to avoid has to be Middlesbrough. The fixture list has given them a paltry two away games in March, with no home games. I predict that away games at Upton Park and St James’ won’t bring Gareth Southgate too much to cheer about…

Hope this helps people when choosing their winning teams!

Good luck!
